Ways to participate in municipal government
Find ways to participate in municipal government
We want to hear from you. Engage Raleigh is the city’s online engagement platform. Discover active city projects and share your comments. Online feedback is a simple way to provide meaningful feedback that staff use to inform management of the public’s desires.
Participate in councils and commissions
Many recommendations and decisions are made through boards and commissions. You can attend a meeting and provide public comments, or you can apply to be a board or commission member.
Participate in a town council meeting
The Raleigh City Council provides a “public comment” portion at each bimonthly council meeting. Meetings are held every first and third Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. You must register in advance to speak.
